Like a timid blind man
A sprout reaches for the light
For insight.
Foreseeing the end
Throws a flower to the ground
A glare of an eclipse.
The decrepit grasses have fallen,
Life is only a sip.
But their shadows will warm
The green sprout.

За прозрением.
Предвидя конец
Бросает на землю цветок
Блик затмения.
Пали ветхие травы,
Жизнь -- только глоток.
Но согреют их тени
Зелёный росток
